Weapons and Abilities

Tsunayoshi Sawada

Tsuna is capable of using the Dying Will Flame (when shot with special bullets or having taken certain pills), which is a form of high pressured energy capable of having destructive powers or purifying evil auras. It initially lies within a person's body until it is awakened, helping increase a person's strength. When a person is able to control the full potential and power of the Dying Will they are able to go into (Hyper) Dying Will Mode at any time. Reborn said that any one has the potential to do this but not many people can withstand the training phases.

HDWM Tsuna

• Dying Will Mode: This mode is activated when Tsuna is shot by Reborn's Dying Will Bullet or having taken a Dying Will Pill. It uses the pressure he faces during a crisis to externally remove Tsuna's body limiters. He then uses his increased strength and renewed confidence to fulfill his dying will, which is the last thought he regretted before being shot.
• Hyper Dying Will Mode: This is when one has been hit with the Criticism Shot or ingested two Dying Will Pills. Hyper Dying Will, instead of removing external limiters on the body and using pressure during a crisis, removes internal limiters; therefore, releasing the person's hidden awareness. When the internal limiters are lifted it awakens his Hyper Intuition.
• Oath Flame: A combination of the Earth Flame and Sky Flame that forms a extremely powerful Flame. This flame has the abilities of both the Sky and Earth Flame and was created when the Earth Simon Ring and theRing of the Sky Version X fused together.

X-Gloves Version Vongola Gear

• Sky Vongola Ring: Won after the Ring Battles with the Varia. Usually worn around his neck, but worn behind his right glove when he is fighting. In the future, both Future Tsuna and Present Tsuna learn how to release Sky Flames with the Harmony attribute. Tsuna is also able to open any kind of Box Weapon using the sky flames produce by the Sky Vongola Ring, though the power is less than those opened with the original flame attribute. In addition, it can also not bring out the true potential of the box weapons. During his battle with Byakuran, a manifestation of Vongola Primo appeared and granted Tsuna and his Guardians the true power of the Vongola Rings. As such Tsuna's Flames and Techniques have dramatically increased in power.
• Vongola Box Ring (Natsu): At the end of the Future Arc after Byakuran was defeated, the Vongola were told that they can't take the Vongola Boxes with them. But with Verde's help, the Vongola Boxes were turned into Rings and were brought back to the present with the Vongola.
• Ring of the Sky Version X: A newly formed ring created by combining the Sky Vongola Ring and Vongola Box Ring (Natsu).
• X-Gloves (エクスグローブ, Ekusu guroobu): Created by Reborn's pet, Leon. At first, they appear to be white, wool mittens, but when used with the Dying Will Flame, they change into a pair of black, metal-clad Gloves.
• X-Gloves, Version Vongola Ring: Though otherwise identical, the X-Gloves, Version V.R. have a large crest resembling the Sky Vongola Ring on the back of the hand.
• X-Gloves, Version Vongola Gear: The new gloves now seems to be mostly red, unlike the previous gloves black. The normal crystal blue Vongola Emblem in the middle now has a red cross on top of it reading "Vongola Famiglia", and a Flame type designs also covers the base of the gloves. Also, as part of the gear, a leg bangle has been added, based on the second ring, which is connected by a chain to a simple belt with an "X" as a buckle.
• Flame Resistant Clothing: These are spun from special Flame Resistant Cloth made by Leon and are capable of withstanding the Dying Will Flame to an extent.
• Contact Lenses: Created by Spanner, these Special Contacts display a targetting system, as well as a system to gauge the strength of the Flames in both X-Gloves. Using these Contacts, Tsuna is able to maximize the power of the X-Burner without propelling himself. The Contacts are apparently interfaced with his earphones.

• X-Headphones: Created by Giannini during the Future Arc, to act as a way of communication during the Merone Base invasion. Per Reborn's request, this headset is able to project holograms, to allow Reborn to help Tsuna from a Distance. Spanner, later linked the headsets to the contact lenses he created to help Tsuna perfect his X-Burner. The present Spanner created upgrades for these along with upgrades for the contact lenses.
• Motorcycle: In the manga, Tsuna has a Honda 250cc NSR Rothmans. In the anime, the airbikes have identical appearances aside from differences in coloration so Tsuna's color is Primarily White with some Blue.
• Leone di Cieli Version Vongola (Vongola Sky Lion): Tsuna's Vongola Box Weapon, which takes the form of a young lion with a mane made of Sky Flames.

• Cambio Forma Modo Difesa: Mantello di Vongola Primo: Natsu changes into a long, black Cloak. The Cloak is attached to a metal plate on the X-Gloves. The Cloak's Ability is to nullify attacks using the Sky's Harmony Attribute.
• Cambio Forma Modo Attaco: Mitena di Vongola Primo: Natsu combines with the X-Gloves and turns into a Gauntlet. While using this, he can concentrate all his Flames into a single attack without charging.

• Vongola Hyper Intuition: Described by Reborn as being "a power that could see through all" which allows the user to predict upcoming attacks

Hayato Gokudera

He is a very intelligent fighter, usually making complex plans in order to defeat stronger opponents. An example of his intelligence is first seen when he technically defeats Belphegor (who joined the Varia at the age of 8 and was considered a genius), and is seen later again when he figures out how to use his flame arrow after only two attempts, completes the Sistema C.A.I. that his future counterpart had been developing, and is the first guardian to learn how to ride his motorcycle with some proficiency.

Uri

• Dynamite: Gokudera is very proficient in the use of Dynamite as a weapon which has given him the name of "Smokin' Bomb Hayato" (スモーキン・ボム 隼人, Sumōkin Bomu Hayato) in the manga and "Hurricane Bomb Hayato" in the anime. He always carries huge amounts of Dynamite on him at all times. He has gone on to develop multiple techniques that basically consist on bombarding his opponent with multiple explosives (the more the better), redirecting his projectiles to improve its accuracy and speed and sneak bombs pass the enemy defences.
• Sistema C.A.I. (lit. System Change Arms Instantaneous or Instantaneous Arms Change System in Italian’’): A system of Box Weapons that utilize the five different Flames that flow within his body.

Gatto Tempesta (Storm Cat) : Gokudera's Box Weapon is a storm cat named Uri and also apart of Sistema C.A.I. It is capable of becoming a Storm Leopard by absorbing Sun Flames. When updated to its Vongola Box Form, Uri is now capable of Cambio Forma that can change into the shape of an archery-style weapon. When released from the Gokudera's Storm Buckle, Uri gained armor on its legs and is wearing sunglasses, and is capable of merging directly with Gokudera for his Cambio Forma.

G's Archery

• Cambio Forma: G's Archery - When activated, Uri combines with the Flame Arrow, creating a giant ornate bow made of bones with Storm Flames covering the drawstring and the Roman Numeral I on the front to symbolize the connection to the 1st Generation. In its Version X form the Cambio Forma has now become many straps of dynamite while forming armor on his legs and one arm, sunglasses, and a Piped-Shaped Igniter to ignite his dynamite.
• Motorcycle/Airbike: Used to travel great distances without the use of Dying Will Flames, thus escaping detection.
• Buckle of the Storm Version X: The upgrade of the Vongola ring combined with Uri.

Takeshi Yamamoto

EquipmentEdit

• Yamamoto's Bat: It was given to him by Reborn shortly before the Kokuyo Arc. Before recieving the Shigure Kintokior learning the Shigure Soen Ryu, Yamamoto used a bat that, when swung at 300 km per hour, transforms into a katana.
• Shigure Kintoki: A Katana inherited by his father, before his battle for the Rain ring. It is a shinai that transforms into a Katana when the Shigure Soen Style is used.
• Vongola Rain Ring: Won during the Rain Ring Battle. As part of the Tri-Ni-Set it is classed as S-rank. In the Future, the Vongola Rings were destroyed by Tsuna. However they were later brought back from the Past with the Ten Year Bazooka. Yamamoto is capable of bringing out Rain Dying Will Flames from his Ring and use its Tranquility Ability to diffuse other Dying Will Flames. He can also use the heat from the Ring to detect incoming attacks. The Vongola Guardians were later accepted by the First Vongola Boss as the rightful owners of the Vongola Rings and were granted their true Forms.

Asari Ugetsu

• Rain Vongola Box Weapon: Yamamoto has a unique Box Weapon as it in fact two different Animals, one being Jirou theRain Akita (Akita di Pioggia ver. Vongola) and the other Kojirouthe Rain Swallow (Rondine di Pioggia ver. Vongola). Jirou helps Yamamoto wield the three Rain Blades that use Rain Flames to propel Yamamoto in different directions. Kojirou has the power to make Rain infused with the Tranquility Attribute and shower it down on opponents.

  

  Asari Ugetsu Version X

• Cambio Forma: Asari Ugetsu's Four Irregular Swords (Change Form: Morning Benefit Moon Obscured by Rain): Kojirou fuses with Yamamoto's Shigure Kintoki to create the ornately decorated long sword with the roman numeral "I", and Jirou provides three short swords. It is said theFirst Rain Guardian used this sword style. In its Version X form Yamamoto gain's only two swords, along with Armor around his wrists
• Water: A box weapon used by Future Yamamoto Takeshi used for defensive water wall able to withstand Flames and protect from incoming attacks.
• Motorcycle/Airbike: Used to travel great distances during Choice, using a Dying Will Flame powered engine, completely covered by material used to make Mammon Chains and Mammon Covers to keep the bikes from being detected.
• Necklace of the Rain Version X: The upgrade version of the Vongola Rain Ring took form of a Necklace with a Sword and Jirou.

Ryohei Sasagawa

Ryohei is an excellent boxer who possesses great strength. His boxing training resulted in his proficiency in hand-to-hand combat, and ability to take and give a huge amount of physical punishment. Even the Dying Will Bullet, which increases a person's strength by removing the body's limiters, has no effect on him since he always lives "to the extreme". He has also perfected Lussuria's footwork allowing him to leave several after images to confuse opponents.

Maximum Cannon

TechniquesEdit

• Maximum Cannon: During Ryohei's training, Colonnello shot him with a spiritually condensed bullet that risked death. By surviving Ryohei's potential was unlocked, enabling him to unleash a blow strong enough to destroy buildings.
• Maximum Ingram: While using Lussuria's footwork the number of blows dealt with a regular Maximum Cannon are multiplied.
• Maximum Combination: A high speed range of punches using both arms. While it is not as strong as other attacks, it is almost impossible to dodge.
• Sunshine Counter: It uses the damage previously taken and fires it in a blast of sun flames. The more damage taken before it is used, the more damage it deals. Once release, it takes the form of a burning sun, with solar flares coming out of it, and then it shoots in a direct blast that destroys anything it touches.
• Sunshine Uppercut: A powerful uppercut that can be powered up when more damage is taken prior to usage. Similar to Sunshine Counter, it creates the sun like figure and releases the blast, this time, raising instead

Kyoya Hibari

In the Future, Hibari has become far more adept at using Rings; opening Cloud attribute Box weapon's with Cloud Rings, although he usually shatter's them after one use, due to the intensity of his flames. His signature Box weapons are his Cloud hedgehogs and are often used to fight opponents he deems as weak. And on occasion when fights opponents he deems as strong he uses his Cloud tonfa's.

The current as well as younger Hibari however is not as adept at using the Rings but continues to learn none the less, which eventually leads him to be adept at using them in the Future. The younger Hibari has also shown to be capable of emitting a massive Dying Will Flame with the CloudVongola Ring; his capacity to create a powerful Dying Will Flame is due to his resolve; his "irritation" for others.

EquipmentEdit

• Tonfas - Hibari's tonfas seem to be his main weapon for combat. Later it is revealed that they hold hidden compartments. The ends of the tonfas can release flails and the sides contain spikes and hooks.

Hibari's Cambio Forma

• Cloud Hedgehog - In the future, Hibari's Box Weapon is a Cloud Hedgehog. When released, the hedgehog can multiply in number. He often will use his hedgehogs when he fights opponents he deems as weak. When facing stronger enemies, he then will instead use his Cloud Tonfas. Due to the Cloud Flame's Propagation ability, he can increase the size of his Hedgehogs to large proportions when they take in his flames.
• Vongola Cloud Hedgehog - Hibari's original Cloud Hedgehog Roll is later integrated into his Vongola Box. It now appears as a Hedgehog with larger, but fewer, spikes than the other Cloud Hedgehogs.
• Roll (Version X) - Roll takes his initial appearance (as he appeared before as a Cloud Hedgehog), although with jewels on both his forehead and chest. He is now capable of merging directly with Hibari for his Cambio Forma.
• Cambio Forma: Alaude's Handcuffs - Hibari's Cambio Forma takes the form of a pair of spiked black handcuffs. He can multiply the number of handcuffs by using the Cloud Flame's Propagation attribute. These handcuffs can be used to envelop and restrain an opponent. Hibari can then dramatically decrease the size of the restraints, crushing his opponent on all sides of their body. In its Version X form the Cambio Forma allows Hibari to gain a pair of modified tonfas on each arm and a trench coat.
• Bracelet of the Clouds Version X: The upgraded Vongola Cloud Ring, combined with Hibari's Vongola Box animal Roll.

Mukuro Rokudo

Known as someone who has driven both the Mafia and police into the most dangerous and desperate of situations, Mukuro is a formidable and deadly opponent.
Though Mukuro's main weapon is a Trident, which he always carries with him, he is first and foremost a master of illusions; he can even overpower the Mist Arcobaleno, Viper, in a battle of its use, Viper even being known as one of the "World's Strongest Selective Seven" before he became an Arcobaleno, though Mukuro is also able to use combative skills as well. Being a skillful user of Illusions, he is not easily deceived by Illusions that are cast by others, possessing a highly perceptive mind and also able to dispel other illusions cast by illusionists.
